Finca La Esperanza in Antigua Guatemala is the very first farm Josue and LVC designed together. Back in 2012, when they discovered the lot, the land was bare and nothing would grow. LVC proceeded to divide the farm into four quadrants, each cultivating the same varietal experimenting with shade trees, plant density, and cultivation techniques. After planting their first crop of rust-resistant Villa Sarchi beans, the farm saw incredible results, both in the cup quality and knowledge they gained.
Fast forward a decade, and exciting changes are on the horizon for Esperanza. Fresh varietals have taken root, and their spirit of experimentation continues to push boundaries
