This is the second year in a row that we've carried coffee from Lago, grown in the Santiago Atitlán region of Guatemala. Lago features a very unique micro-climate for growing coffee. Wind is moving in from the north as well as the Pacific ocean. The varieties of Bourbon and Caturra add a touch of complexity to the cup, but the washing process helps to keep uniformity, which means the cups are more consistent, brew to brew.
